Program Details:

DAY 1 : FEZ - IFRAN - MIDELT - MERZOUGA

Embark on an exciting exploratory tour from Fez to Marrakech, passing through the stunning Sahara desert of Merzouga, and discover the rich culture of the Berber people in southeastern Morocco. Our journey begins with an early departure from your accommodation in Fez, and we’ll make our way to Ifrane, known as the “small Switzerland” of Morocco. After a brief tour of the city, we’ll visit the cedar forest in Azrou, where you can encounter the friendly Barbary macaque monkeys and capture stunning photos. We’ll then cross the Middle Atlas Mountains and pass through the Ziz Valley, where you can capture pictures of one of the largest palm groves in Morocco, spanning over 150 km. We’ll stop for lunch at a local restaurant and continue towards the Erg Chebbi dunes in Merzouga, where you’ll be greeted with mint tea and check into your hotel to freshen up for a new adventure. This time, you’ll experience a camel ride through the dunes and discover the secrets of the sea of sand. We’ll stop at the top of a big dune to admire the beauty of the desert, watch the sunset, and enjoy dinner and an overnight stay in a traditional Berber tent at the foot of one of the highest dunes in Erg Chebbi.

DAY 2 : MERZOUGA - TODRA GORGE – DADES VALLEY – OASIS OF SKOURA - OUARZAZATE.

“Start your day early to witness a breathtaking sunrise over the dunes, capturing the changing colors of the sand with your camera or phone. Afterwards, ride your camel back to the hotel while savoring the serene and enchanting atmosphere of the sun-kissed dunes. Freshen up with a shower and enjoy a delicious breakfast before we embark on a new journey through palm groves and oases. Our first stop will be the small town of Rissani, where you can explore its bustling souk. We will then head towards Tinghir, where we will visit the spectacular Todra Gorge, with its impressive 300-meter-high canyons. We will continue our journey to Boumalne Dades, where we will take numerous stops to capture the stunning views of the valley. Next, we will visit the Valley of the Roses, known for its annual Rose Festival held in May. After visiting a cooperative of roses, we will head towards Ouarzazate through the Skoura Oasis, stopping to visit the ancient Kasbah Amrideil, which is over 500 years old. We will spend the night in Ouarzazate, enjoying dinner and a comfortable overnight stay in the hotel.”

DAY 3 : OUARZAZATE - MARRAKECH.

“We will begin the day by exploring the city of Ouarzazate, renowned for its impressive kasbahs, including the Taourirt, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and one of the most stunning palaces in the area. We will also visit the cinema museum and film studios near the Kasbah of Ouarzazate, where several international films such as Gladiator, Lawrence of Arabia, Game of Thrones, and Babel were shot. Later, we will drive 20 km to visit the famous Ait Ben Haddou kasbah. Afterward, we will cross the High Atlas Mountains, taking in the breathtaking landscapes and hidden Berber villages nestled at the foot of the immense valleys. You may choose to stop for lunch at a local restaurant in Tichka Pass or continue directly to Marrakech to spend the remaining time exploring the magnificent Majorelle Gardens. “
