As we approach Errachidia, the landscape gradually transforms, revealing the desert tracks. After lunch, we’ll proceed through the scenic Ziz Valley towards Erfoud, Rissani, and Merzouga. Upon arrival, we’ll enjoy a refreshing mint tea before leaving our luggage in a secure room and embarking on a camel ride to a Berber campsite in the heart of the Erg Chebbi dunes, the highest sand dunes in North Africa. The camel ride takes around an hour and a half, and upon reaching the camp, we’ll settle into our Berber tents, which are well-equipped with mattresses, blankets, and cushions. After dinner, we’ll gather around the campfire and enjoy the traditional Berber drumming under the starry desert sky.”
