Explore Morocco’s rich history on a private day trip from Fez to Meknes and Volubilis. In Meknes, the former capital of Morocco, you’ll see sites like the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail and the monumental gates. Then, head to Volubilis, a UNESCO World Heritage site featuring some of North Africa’s best preserved Roman ruins.

Your day trip will begin with your driver picking you up from your accommodation in Casablanca at 8 AM. The first stop will be in Rabat, the royal capital of Morocco, where you may visit the unfinished Hassan mosque and the old Kasbah Odaya if there is time. Next, you will continue on to Moulay Driss, where you can enjoy a panoramic view of the city from atop a hill.

Around 12 PM, you will arrive in Meknes and stop for lunch at a local restaurant before embarking on a city tour with a professional guide to explore the ancient medina and visit the monuments.
