1 FULL DAY : FULL-DAY PRIVATE TOUR TO OUZOUD WATERFALLS & THE MIDDLE ATLAS MOUNTAIN TRIP FROM MARRAKECH

Starting at 8:00 am from your accommodation in Marrakech, you will embark on a day trip to the famous Ouzoud waterfalls. The journey takes around two hours, followed by a scenic hike through the village of Ouzoud. You can choose to explore the area on your own or with a local guide, taking in the lush green valley, orchards, water mills, and meeting the Berber people who live in the mountains.
Upon reaching the magnificent waterfalls, you will be mesmerized by the stunning panorama of cascading water and rainbows. You can enjoy a leisurely lunch at one of the local cafes that serve mouth-watering Tagines by the stream with picturesque views of the waterfalls.
As you climb to the top of the falls, you will encounter families of friendly macaque monkeys, who are accustomed to visitors and will greet you in their own unique way. Your day trip to the Ouzoud Waterfalls concludes in Marrakech, where you will be dropped off at your place of residence.
The waterfalls are approximately 110 meters high and offer a magnificent sight as the water bounces on multiple levels and creates fine droplets in the air, often accompanied by a beautiful rainbow. At the Ouzoud waterfalls site, you can find several small restaurants serving traditional Moroccan cuisine, or sip a refreshing mint tea while admiring the monkeys and the rainbow over the waterfalls.
You can also cross the river using a wooden bridge or take one of the small boats, humorously named “Le France,” “Le Phocéa,” or “Le Titanic,” for a small fee to get closer to the falls. The cascades of Ouzoud are charming and perfect for a delightful day trip. It’s no wonder that Ouzoud means “Sweet” in Berber. Lunch is not included, and the return trip to Marrakech will take place in the afternoon.
